For instructors who deliver multiple sessions daily, rapid-dry fabrics are a genuine functional necessity.
Look for fabrics with polyester/spandex compositions — typically 90–95% polyester, 5–10% spandex or elastane. This combination provides stretch for full freedom of movement, moisture management, and quick-dry performance. Design for Movement as Well as Appearance
Fitness workwear needs to look sharp at the start of the shift and remain presentable through physical activity. Choose performance cuts with minimal structure — boxy or stiff cuts restrict movement and look wrong in a fitness context. Fitted performance styles that move with the body are the standard in the sector.
Branding That Reflects Your Studio’s Values
Your gym brand has a personality — high-intensity and challenging, or calm and restorative, or welcoming and community-focused. Your team’s workwear should reflect that personality. The colour, the logo placement, the font choice in the embroidery — all of these should feel coherent with the brand you’ve built.
