Terms & conditions

Last updated 22 October 2026.

These terms

They cover buying from itsworkwear.co.uk. Placing an order means you accept them. We may update them, and the version published when you order is the one that applies to your order.

Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract exists when we email you to confirm despatch, not when payment is taken. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or a price is obviously wrong, we will tell you and refund in full rather than substitute something you did not choose.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added at checkout and the price shown is the price you pay for the goods, with delivery added separately. Card payments are handled by our payment provider's own hosted checkout — we never see or store your card number.

Card payments for this site are processed through the account operated by The Workwear NW Limited (company number 17230494) for the group's shops. That is the name that will appear on your card statement, rather than The Workwear NW Ltd. Your contract for the goods is with The Workwear NW Ltd, as set out above.

Delivery

UK delivery is £9.99, and orders of £199 or more are delivered free. Delivery to the Republic of Ireland is £19.99. The cost is shown at checkout before you pay and is never added afterwards.

Plain stock is despatched on working days. Embroidered and printed orders go into production once your artwork is approved, so the clock starts at approval rather than at checkout. If you have a date you must hit, tell us before you order and we will confirm whether it is achievable rather than guess.

Your right to cancel

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to tell us you are cancelling, and a further 14 days to send the goods back. They need to come back unworn, unwashed and in the condition you received them. Email info@theworkwear.co.uk with your order number; you do not have to give a reason, and we will confirm the return address before you post anything.

We refund the price of the goods plus the standard delivery you paid on the way out, within 14 days of the goods reaching us or of your proof of postage, whichever is sooner, back to the card you paid with. Return postage is yours to pay unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing. Please get a proof of postage — until the parcel reaches us it remains your responsibility.

The one thing we cannot take back

Goods made or personalised to your specification — anything we have embroidered, printed or altered for you — cannot be returned unless they are faulty, because they cannot be resold. That is the exception the Consumer Contracts Regulations allow for personalised goods. Plain, undecorated stock keeps its full cancellation rights above.

Faulty or incorrect items

If something arrives faulty, or is not what you ordered, tell us and we will replace it or refund you in full including postage both ways. That is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which nothing on this page affects.

Artwork and decoration

If you supply a logo for embroidery or print, you confirm you are entitled to use it. We produce from the proof you approve, so please check spelling, colours and placement on the proof.

Descriptions and stock

Garment colours photograph differently between batches and screens, and a small variation is not a fault. Product images come from the manufacturer. Where a page states a standard, such as an EN number on protective equipment, that standard belongs to the individual garment and its certificate — ask for the certificate if you need to evidence compliance.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for business losses such as lost profit, lost contracts or lost opportunity. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
